- Hats'nShirts sells and custom embroiders 3 types of beanies:

1. Knit Beanie Hats: also called beanie hats, beanie caps, or simply beanies. Knit beanies hats are made of either wool or acrylic yarn or yarns that are wool/acrylic blend. We carry primarily beanies made of wool/acrylic-blended yarns. There are also beanie hats that are made of 100% cotton. These beanie caps have a very tight knit pattern, and are not as stretchable as beanies made of acrylic yarns. We do not have 100% cotton beanies.

2. Visor Beanies: knitted beanie hats with brim. Our best selling beanies this past winter season, visor beanies are all the rage. Visor beanies have a short brim in front. Our version has a fold up band at the edge of the visor beanie. We carry 2 types of visor beanies, 1 in 100% acrylic and 1 in a wool/acrylic blend. The knit pattern of our visor beanie is not too loose and not too tight. This makes our visor beanies stretchable and provides a comfortable fit.

3. Fleece Beanie Hats: beanies or beanie caps made of fleece. Our fleece beanie hats have Spandex in the fabric for comfort and fit. These beanies are great as winter beanies. If you are looking for beanies for cold weather climate, fleece beanie hats are your best choice.

How Does Embroidery Work on Beanie Hats and Visor Beanies?

- Custom embroidery on beanie hats and visor beanies is tricky. The knit fabric and texture make beanie caps hard to embroider. The density of the logo has to be just right. Hats'nShirts has extensive experience embroidering on knit beanies. During the setup process, we take special care to ensure the logo stitching density is just right for beanie caps. The result is beautiful custom logos done in just the right way! And best of all, your 1st custom logo embroidery and setup is free!

- The maximum custom embroidery area on beanies hats is quite big. However, due to the lining that we put under the beanies during embroidery, we do not recommend a logo larger than 4.5" wide x 2" high for maximum comfort and ease of fit. Our free embroidery includes 1 logo design at 1 location up to 8,000 stitches. This covers most of the logos we come across for beanie hats orders. You can use up to 6 colors free of charge. There is additional cost for additional logos or embroidery locations. The cost for additional custom embroidery locations depends on the number of beanie hats you purchase. Remember, whether you want to put letters, graphics or combination of both on your custom beanie hat order, as long they are in the same place at the same location, it is considered 1 logo embroidery.

-The embroidery area for visor beanies is smaller than that on regular beanie hats. Please limit the logo size to 1.75" tall x 3.5" wide on all visor beanies. You can also embroider on the band of the visor beanies on the size as well. In that case, the maximum logo height is 1.75". Do You Charge Setup for Custom Beanie Hats and Visor Beanies Orders?

- Setup is the process where we take your logo and turn it into a format our computerized embroidery machines can read. Then the machine can embroider the specific design onto your beanie hats or visor beanies.
- This setup process is necessary no matter what file you send us. For custom embroidered beanie hats and visor beanies, the 1st logo setup is free. For additional designs, say you want to put a design/text/words or combination of both on the back, there is a $40 setup for each additional embroidery design on your beanies order.

Custom Embroidery Design Help for Your Custom Beanie Caps Order

- To produce the best custom logo quality, we prefer electronic files in the following format: EPS, TIFF, PDS and JPEG. If you have a beanie cap or custom cap with the logo you like on it, take a high-resolution picture of the cap from the front center and email it to us. 90% of the time we can work with the picture and extract the logo that way. I Want to Order Custom Embroidered Beanie Hats, But I don't Have a Logo, Can You Help?

- We have a Font Library for you to choose fonts.
- You can also go to embroidery.com to choose a stock design not exceeding the size limit. We will pay for any designs not exceeding our logo size limit. Remember, if you want to add text onto a design, you need to leave 1/2" for each line text.

Can I See a Sample Of Your Beanie Caps or Visor Beanies? How About A Sample of My Custom Logo Embroidered?

- Blank beanie hats and visor beanies samples can be purchased at 1st column price plus shipping. Beanie caps samples cannot be returned.
- We will email you an embroidery proof of your logo within 24 to 48 hours of order and payment confirmation. If you want to see an emailed custom embroidery proof before you place your custom beanie hats and visor beanies order, we do charge $40 for the service. Again, we will email you a proof with 24 to 48 hours. If you want to see a sample of the beanie cap itself embroidered, there the total cost is: $40 setup per logo + $25 sample beanie (with 1 logo embroidery) + $10 shipping. Upon placing your bulk order of beanie hats of at least 24 pcs, we will refund the $40 for the 1st logo. The sample fee and shipping is not refundable.

Can I Combine Different Styles and Colors for My Beanie Order?

- You can combine different beanie hats and visor beanies styles/colors, but there is a 12 pc min per color/24 pc min per style for any beanie caps or visor beanies order.

How Long Before I Receive My Custom Beanie Hats Order?

- The average turn around time for any custom beanie hats order is 12 working days, not including weekends.

What is the Cancellation/Return Policy On Your Beanies?

- You can cancel your beanie caps or visor beanies order before work has begun. If you have started setup process of your custom logo, you will be charged $40 for labor. After you have approved the custom logo proof for you custom beanie hats or visor beanies order, you will be billed the entire order and your beanie caps order cannot be cancelled at this point.

- After a beanie caps order has been embroidered, we will only accept exchange if the product is defective or if we made a mistake on your logo. Note that we do not accept return for beanie hats that do not fit or the color of the beanies is not as expected. We encourage you to order a blank beanie cap sample to ensure proper fit and the correct color. You can always send it back to be embroidered with your bulk custom beanie caps or visor beanies order.

- A note about custom beanie hats logo colors: we will match your logo colors the best we can. If you have a Pantone color for your logo, we will try to match that. But remember embroidery threads have a sheen that is unique. It is virtually impossible to match them to colors on paper. If you request red, we will use our generic red unless a specific Pantone color is indicated on your order form.
